As a partner in the launch of Ovation by DanceOne, Hough recognized the importance of having a wood dance floor he could trust, one that could meet the demands of ballroom and Latin dance while offering the flexibility to travel. Together, Harlequin and Ovation helped bring that vision to life with a floor designed specifically for these styles, combining trusted sprung floor construction with a beautiful, traditional wood aesthetic.
Performance Meets Practicality
Featuring an elegant birch plywood surface protected by a durable lacquer, Harlequin Liberty Ballroom delivers the classic look of a ballroom floor with the benefits of a portable, modular system. Its refined finish makes it a striking addition to dance competitions, conventions, touring productions, and other performance spaces.
Beneath the lacquered birch plywood panels are shock-damping, dual-density elastomer pads form a sprung floor construction designed with performance in mind. A latch-and-lock mechanism secures the panels together with a simple turn of the key, making installation, transportation, and storage straightforward.
Designed for portable installations, the panels fit together in a brickwork pattern to create a stable, joined surface. Once the dancing is done, they can be stored and transported using Harlequin’s dedicated panel storage carts.
