Harlequin Floors, the global leader in advanced technology flooring for dance, performing arts, entertainment and events, today announced plans to open a distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada to better meet the delivery expectations of their customer base. The new facility will begin operating June 15.
“We recognized with the new delivery economy that a distribution center in Las Vegas allows us to better serve customers in this region,” said Pat Basileo, Chief Operating Officer of American Harlequin. “With reduced shipping costs and shorter delivery times, we can cost-effectively supply customers with the products they need quickly,” she added.
The new distribution center is expected to accommodate approximately 29 percent of Harlequin’s total shipments within North America servicing the Mountain and Pacific regions of the U.S. as well as Western Canada and Mexico. The company plans to store and ship core products from the Las Vegas location including vinyl roll out floors, high gloss display floors and accessory items like floor cleaners and gaffers tape.
In addition to the Las Vegas facility, Harlequin operates in Fort Worth, Los Angeles and Philadelphia (Americas headquarters).
