Steps on Broadway

Steps on Broadway is a renowned dance and rehearsal studio, home to some of the world’s finest and most passionate dance teachers, where on any given day a casual enthusiast might be taking class next to an aspiring professional or a seasoned veteran from Broadway. Steps recognized that it needed to provide their tap program with a studio that could sustain to the rigors and impact of tap classes held all day, every day. Having already installed Harlequin Cascade™ in their multipurpose studios they turned once again to Harlequin. Harlequin WoodSpring^® was chosen as the sprung sub-floor along with a hardwood maple surface that would sustain the punishment from high-performance tap dancers. Step’s Founder and Artistic Director Carol Paumgarten quickly thanked Harlequin “…For what have been heralded as the best tap floors in New York City.”
