Attic Makeover: Unfinished Space to Home Dance Studio
Without a place to continue her daily training, Savannah Howell decided to build out an empty, formless attic to accommodate the new studio project which would also include a home cinema.
The Eventim Apollo Theatre
The Eventim Apollo is one of the UK’s largest original theatres. Harlequin removed the old vinyl, plywood, and original hardwood stage surface. The stage surface was finished with a black Harlequin Standfast performance floor, intended for permanent installation. With a slip-resistant surface, Standfast is suitable for multi-purpose and heavy-duty use.
Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences
The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences is a multi-purpose venue located in downtown Lubbock, Texas. Harlequin Floors was part of the team selected to outfit the Ballet Lubbock space, which boasts six dance studios, a parent and community space, production areas and administrative offices.
Glorya Kaufman Performing Arts Center
The newly-opened Glorya Kaufman Performing Arts Center in California was outfitted with Harlequin Floors.
Collage Dance Collective
Collage Dance Collective, a Memphis-based ballet company and conservatory recently moved into a new state-of-the-art building, becoming the largest black dance company in the southern United States. After persevering through the unexpected challenges of the pandemic, the company moved into their brand-new space in late 2020, after starting out in a church basement and outgrowing their former space.
